Music of the Spears In the Egg-memory, Kahvi challenges Two-Spear wanting to be chief or at least have her father show her SOME respect, but is fatally wounded and left in the water of the vision-cave. Many many years later, the tribe returns to the cave but only one member is still alive, Icetooth, who takes the new use-name Sharf. The tribe finds Kahvi, in a deep healing trance but healed and alive and they awaken her and she doesn't remember anything. During the interval that we do not see Willowgreen "tricked" the entire tribe into having their wolf-blood cleansed and Two-Spear has died, to they awaken Kahvi and "Sharf" convinces the new tribe that she has to be their new chieftain. Kahvi awakens from her trance, now aware that she is really a WolfRider. During the night she steals the little Egg from Aurek's sleep-chamber and sets off on foot to return to her tribe.
